How Much Does Shower Door Installation Cost in Fayetteville, GA?
Quick answer
Most shower doors we put in around Fayetteville start between $1,000 and $1,800, depending on the layout. A 2-panel frameless starts at $1,000, a bypass slider at $1,600, and a 3-panel stand up at $1,800. The size of your opening, the glass, and the hardware move it from there, and for most hall bathrooms we can price it from a photo.

I've been working with glass since I was about 20, and I started S & B Glass at 24, running jobs out of my truck by myself. Today we have 10 guys, we built our own shop in 2021, and most of the crew has been with me more than five years. Shower doors are most of our home work, so I get asked what they cost just about every day.
The honest answer is that one price doesn't fit every bathroom. Your opening, your layout, the glass, and the hardware all change the number. But most hall bathrooms are pretty standard, and if you send me a picture, I can usually tell you what it's going to cost right off the picture. Here are the starting prices we work from and what pushes a job above them.
Shower door prices by layout
| Layout | Starts at | Where it fits |
|---|---|---|
| 2 panel | $1,000 | Smaller bathrooms and simple openings, frameless for a clean look |
| Semi-frameless | $1,050 | Bathrooms with limited width, with just a little framing |
| Crescent slider | $1,400 | Corner showers, with a curved front that saves space |
| Hydro slider | $1,400 | Standard openings where you want sliding panels |
| Header support | $1,400 | Layouts that use a header bar across the top for support |
| 3 panel + half wall | $1,500 | Showers built on a half wall, with two fixed panels and a door |
| Bypass slider | $1,600 | Narrow bathrooms, with two or more panels that slide past each other |
| 3 panel stand up | $1,800 | Larger walk-in showers, with two fixed panels and a door |
These are starting prices from our current price sheet. Every job gets quoted to its own measurements, so a bigger opening, a glass upgrade, or fancier hardware will land above the starting number.
Hardware upgrades and add-ons
Every door comes with a tubular handle. If you want something different, here's what the common upgrades run.
| Hardware | Price |
|---|---|
| Tubular handle | Included |
| Thumb pull | +$75 |
| Round ladder handle | +$100 |
| Tubular square handle | +$100 |
| Square ladder handle | +$100 |
| Victorian handle | +$200 |
| Towel bar | $75 each |
Clear glass is standard, and it's what most people pick. We also do low-iron (ultra clear), frosted or etched, and rain glass, and we price those on your quote.
If hard water is a problem in your house, ask about Invisible Shield. It's a coating we apply to the glass to help it resist water stains. It's an add-on, and Invisible Shield backs the product with its own warranty.
What drives the price
- The layout. A 2-panel door is less glass and less hardware than a 3-panel stand up or a bypass slider, which is most of the spread in the table above.
- The size of your opening. Taller and wider showers need bigger panels.
- How the glass gets supported. This is the one people don't see coming. More on it below.
- The glass you choose. Clear is the base. Low-iron, frosted, and rain glass cost more.
- Handles, finish, and towel bars. A thumb pull is $75 and a Victorian handle is $200. Two of the jobs below used matte black and brushed bronze.
- A complex layout. If you've got a Pinterest photo of something unusual, it may need more measuring and planning before we can price it.
Why bigger glass can cost more
When we first started doing shower doors, frameless meant a couple of small pieces of glass. Now designers want one huge panel with no frame, like it's floating. That glass has to be supported some kind of way.
"With some situations you need to use a thicker glass or a stronger support, and people don't really have that type of, like, okay let's add support here without it looking tacky or bad. Versus just, I can put this big glass in, but when they grab it it's shaking like it's going to fall over. That came with experience."
Matt, owner
So if one quote comes in a lot lower than the others on a big frameless shower, ask how they plan to support the glass. A door should feel solid when you grab it.
How a shower door job goes with us
- You send us a photo, or we come out. For a standard layout, we can usually give you a price off the picture. Nobody should be waiting days to hear back about a price.
- We measure your opening. The measurements go into Smart Blazer, the software we use for frameless shower doors, and the order goes straight to our fabricator.
- Your glass is made to those measurements. Nothing is off the shelf, so it fits the opening you actually have.
- Our guys install it, along with your handle, any towel bars, and the hardware finish you picked.
- We email you our warranty when the job closes.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to pay someone to install a shower door?
With us, shower door layouts start at $1,000 for a 2-panel frameless and $1,800 and up for a 3-panel stand up. Where your job lands depends on the size of the opening, the glass, and the hardware you pick. Send us a photo and we can usually give you a price from it.
How much should I pay for a shower door installation?
Around Fayetteville, our starting prices run from $1,000 to $1,800 depending on the layout, before any upgrades. When you compare quotes, make sure each one is for the same layout, glass, and hardware. On a big frameless panel, ask each installer how they plan to support the glass, because a door that isn't supported right will feel shaky.
How much do Home Depot and Lowe's charge to install a shower door?
We can't speak to their pricing, since it varies by store and by product. What we can tell you is how we work: every door we install is measured to your opening, and the glass is made to those measurements. If you're weighing a big-box quote against ours, compare the same layout, glass, and hardware so you're pricing the same job.
Can you give me a price from a photo?
For most bathrooms, yes. About three out of four showers we see are standard layouts, and we can usually price those right off a picture. A complex or custom layout gets measured before we give you a final number.
Do your shower doors come with a warranty?
Yes. We have a standard warranty on our shower door work, and we email it to you when the job closes. If you add Invisible Shield coating, that product carries its own warranty from Invisible Shield.
